I must really love dairy

Oh my goodness! I had quite the adventure today! Starting off with a visit to Ryan's Place Park. This adorable park is nestled in River Heights. It is a gem of a playground, just as fun for "adults" as it is for children.
This park is addorable! With a dragon slide and "papa's lemonade stand" it is a for sur addition to any cache valley checklist!
After the park we hit up Gossner's Dairy.
This factory has an absolutely perfect factory store attached. Free samples are an must with any visit. Get a taste of their delicious cheese or have a sample of root beer flavored milk. This was such a fun unexpected treasure. Another great check off my list!

An opera and a hanging chair

USU has a great drama department. I have had the chance to see a couple of their productions, however, I have never been to an opera on campus before. One of my best friends from high school told me that she was in the opera this year and I thought it was a great chance to check of another thig on my list! The show was called "Help, Help, the Globolinks!" It was a pretty quirky show about an alien invasion and a all girls boarding school.
It was unlike anything I have ever seen! It was pretty interesting, but I had a great time and it was really good to see Hannah performing.
Later I was able to go to The Crepery for dinner. This was the first time I have been to The Crepery and let me tell you, it was AMAZING! I am officially in love with crepes. I had the scout camp which had marshmallow fluff, chocolate, and gram crackers. The Crepery is a super cute tiny restaurant with a really fun atmosphere. There are couched and some awesome hanging chairs. It was so yummy and so fun!

Show me the true blooded Aggie who doesn't love ... Aggie ice cream!

No Cache Valley bucket list would be complete with out a trip to the famous Aggie Ice Cream. Now known as Aggie creamery, I practically grew up running around the lawn outside the Aggie ice cream building.
Last night I took the very short walk from the towers to get the best desert in Utah. Free ice cream coupons are always available on campus if you know where to go so Sara and I had a great adventure for free!
So I know this is a horrible picture but I love it!

Aggies Vote!

Boy! The Aggies sure know how to campaign! SO many campaign signs everywhere and all of the candidates outside yelling to you as you walk by. Voting was all online so they all had laptops set up for you to vote on your way to class. As the week went by the candidates get a little more out there and a little more desperate for you to talk to them. People in costumes are not a rare sight and free candy is abundant. Despite the craziness I love having some say in how my school is run. It is some small way that I can make a difference.

Cleaning The Sink

Okay so here's the thing. I have pretty much grown up in Logan, however in all of my 18 years I have never cleaned the sink at Angie's. Don't get me wrong I have been to "where the locals eat." However I have never been daring enough to attempt the massive feat of cleaning the sink. I really don't know why I never realized that to take down this obscenely large amount of ice cream all it takes is 11 of your closest friends.  The night started with a 50's Dance at the LDS Institute.. It was a blast! Complete with 50's costumes and swing dancing. After the dance we headed over to Angie's. It was a pretty tight squeeze into the booth but the ice cream was delicious, and the whole diner vibe of Angie's was so much fun in our 50's garb.

Falling in Love

I am officially in LOVE with Logan! I have "lived" in Logan at Utah State University for seven months now, however, Cache Valley has always been my home away from home. This is my quest to fall even deeper in love with the Valley that I call home.
My original idea for this blog came from this post over at The Dancing Cow. She had a great idea for a Cache Valley Checklist. I hope to go through this 100+ list during my time here in Logan. With my friends by my side, I am on a mission to see all that Logan and Cache Valley has to offer.
